Today, July 12th, is George Eastman’s birthday. If you haven’t already, do yourself a favor and go to the George Eastman Museum to learn about the man that brought photography to the masses.
Ask about the 13 period calendar. Ask about the name “Kodak”. Ask about monies that he gave. Ask anything. The docents are extremely knowledgeable and provide wonderful tours.
Be sure to check out the gardens, galleries, and archive as well. It’s truly a national treasure.
